I am going through such a lot of changes in my life at the moment and life seems to be moving at an incredibly fast pace. Sometimes I just need to stop, sit and just be. I call this my time for 'listening'. Basically it is meditation where you just stop everything and listen - listen to the sounds around you, the sounds within you and the feelings that come up. This practice really does bring you into a fuller consciousness and it is something that I seem to need more as I get older!
